Best Kitchen Design

The judges were unanimous that Melanie Craig’s kitchen was their winner this year. The total originality was this kitchen’s greatest asset. There has been a lot of thought behind it and the whole kitchen has a point of difference. It is fresh, unique, and original. The look is a little bit retro, and they saw new design elements for the first time in this kitchen.

Best Bathroom Design

Celia Visser’s design made good use of mirrors to provide the illusion of space in a narrow bathroom. The spectacular twin basins and tapware were chosen to enhance the appeal of the vanity, which was placed central to the glass dividing wall. Three different but complementary tile styles have contributed to creating a very inviting bathroom.

CDS Best Kitchen or Bathroom

Linda Christensen looked at the whole picture of the house and so the kitchen was well integrated into the space. The East Coast US inspiration is homely and inviting, with a light quality, bright and fresh. The kitchen sits well in the whole area and there is longevity in the design, with a functional layout that fits the CDS bill.
