Education and Certification
Our industry is constantly changing and evolving and it can be difficult to stay on the cutting edge and keep a close eye on innovations and trends.
Learning should never stop, so that’s why we offer continuing education, in conjunction with the JITO (Joinery Industry Training Authority). NKBA offers certification in the following forms: Certified Kitchen Designer (CKDNZ) or Certified Bathroom Designer (CBDNZ).
Free listings on our website provide direct links to your own. As well as search functionality, and your contact details. In addition to standard listings, there are showcase opportunities to feature design projects, products and publish article of interest. The website is also a place where we provide informative and useful resources, tips and articles for consumers – a chance to educate potential clients on the benefits of using NKBA members.
Even with the best people, skills and competitive prices, customers still may not be knocking down your door unless they can find you. Being affiliated with the NKBA gives members targeted ways to market themselves and their products and services. We market the association and its members through websites, magazines, sponsors, suppliers, home shows, regional chapter meetings and events.
