The mission of the National Kitchen & Bath Association is to enhance member success and excellence by promoting professionalism and ethical business practices, and providing leadership and direction for the kitchen and bathroom industry. Membership in the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA) at the national and at the local chapter level helps to raise your level of professionalism in the eyes of your customers.

Education & Certification
As a member of an ever-changing industry, it can be difficult to stay on the cutting edge and keep a close eye on innovations and trends. Learning should never stop, that's why we offer continuing education. In addition, what better way can you advertise your knowledge of kitchen and/or bathroom design then by obtaining a nationally recognised appellation?

NKBA offers certification in the following forms:
Certified Kitchen Designer (CKD) or
Certified Bathroom Designer (CBD).

Leadership Roles
At NKBA, there are many opportunities to become a leading voice in the kitchen and bath industry, from local and national officer positions to working with program committees and industry segment councils. These roles ensure a proactive voice in the industry to protect members by monitoring industry developments.

Board of Directors
This group oversees the chapters and sets policy for the Association. Leadership roles at the local level provide opportunities to network and learn.
