KITCHEN DESIGNER/MANAGER
Appnet is the incorporated Society that is a significant player in the Home Appliance Industry and owns the Betta Electrical brand.
Appnet is also the exclusive agent and importer of Leicht kitchens from Germany and Comprex kitchens from Italy.
We are seeking an experienced kitchen design professional (preferably with European design experience) to champion the development of these kitchen brands in New Zealand.
We envisage the role will have a high degree of autonomy and is likely to be performance based contract.
The key attributes of a suitable candidate would be as follows:
Kitchen design/sales and installation experience (preferably European but not mandatory)
Motivated self-starter
Competent in design softwares
Ability to negotiate and interact with a diverse clientele
Strong attention to detail with good working disciplines

You will need be able to build strong relationships with customers, suppliers and team mates.
You will have a proven history of selling big ticket items and meeting budgets in a competitive
market. Kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential.
You will need to tackle goals with enthusiasm and be able to work towards a budget.
You will need to be able to use Word, Excel and Outlook and a knowledge of 20/20 drawing
package would be an advantage.
You will need to have excellent communication skills and be results orientated.
There is heaps of customer contact so an outgoing and bubbly personality is a MUST!
Job Description:
Sales & Design Consultant
Remuneration is largely commission based.
You will meet with clients and go out to their home to do an initial site measure and design.
You will design, quote and put plans into production.
You will attend training meetings and have product training with suppliers.
You will receive initial training as well as ongoing training.
Every day is different here so the ability to multi task is important.
